Weddings at Villa Sandviken
Villa Sandviken, (aka the villa situated in the Hitealahti Park) was completed in 1845. The villa was built as somewhat of an elite club house, where the celebrities of the time gathered during the summers. Drinking songs were enjoyed in the park as cultural people and high-ranking officials celebrated the summer in varied formations. Runeberg, Sibelius, Jarnfelt and the ballet dancer Pavlovak enjoyed spending time at the villa and there was plenty of entertainment from circus groups to theatre performances and song festivals.
The spectacular building with its surrounding parkland was in private use for several decades after its completion, and from 1880 onwards the villa belonged to the city of Vaasa. In 2016 the historic Villa changed owners and after a full-scale restoration, the Villa once again opened its doors to the public as a valuable and unique party venue.
Sales warranty
For a private event in the main hall of our restaurant, we charge an 8000e sales guarantee during the summer. In this case, the facilities will be at your disposal until 24:00. The sales guarantee includes all products and services purchased at the event. If your purchases exceed that sales guarantee, we will not charge a separate rent for the space. If your purchases are below the sales guarantee, the difference between the sales guarantee and your purchases will be charged as rent for the space.
Time schedule
The main hall of the restaurant is at your disposal from 10:00 to 24:00. If you wish, the party can continue until 02:00, however last drinks will be served at 01:30 and guests must leave by 02:00. The price of overtime in the main hall is 100e/ h. If possible, the wedding party can be continued in the basement of Villa, according to its opening hours.
Serving of alcohol
The indoor and outdoor areas of our restaurant are a drinking area where it is forbidden to enjoy your own brought drinks. The implementation of the liquor and payment arrangements can be agreed flexibly.
Äänentoisto
Ravintolassa voi soittaa musiikkia ravintolan äänentoistolaitteiden kautta. Pääsalissa on lisäksi kaksi videotykkiä ja valkokangasta sekä kaksi mikrofonia. Mahdollisten esiintyjien äänentoiston tarvitsemat laitteet tulee sopia erikseen esiintyjänne kanssa.

Ravintolastamme löytyy tarvittaessa erillinen tila esiintyjille ja valokuvaajalle. Tilaan voidaan järjestää erillinen ruoka- ja juomatarjoilu ennakkoon sovitusti.
